Power Electronics

Power Electronics Training Day was designed to address some of the critical engineering challenges around power electronics design and the products and technology available to help solve those challenges. Covered topics include approaches to controlling delivered power and heat, the use of EMI filters to reduce EMI in power supplies, energy efficiency through wide band gap semiconductors, as well as electric vehicle fast charging, thermal management and safety.
Classrooms may include:
  • Changing landscape of standards & regulations (batteries, other power supplies, etc)

  • Electric Vehicles (fast charging, thermal management, safety...)

  • Power Conversion

  • Wideband Gap technology (power semi devices)

  • Next-gen battery technology

  • Lighting
